Abstract

This work is an experimental study of hybrid fibre reinforced concrete of M30 grade by
using polyester fibre and steel fibre in rigid pavement. Concrete is very important in civil structures. The
Hybrid Fibre Reinforcement is very useful in different types of construction due to its better quality. The
strength of concrete is determined by performing the flexural strength test and compressive strength test.
M30 grade of concrete is used in this project .The required ratio is calculated with the help of testing of
coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and cement. Normal concrete is compared to the hybrid fibre reinforced
concrete in this project. Polyester fibre and steel fibre are used in different proportions to determine the
concrete strength. By adding the fiber, the variations in flexural strength and compressive strength of hybrid
fibre reinforced concrete are obtained.
