Radical Enhancement Electric and Thermoelectric Efficiency of Graphene Nano constrictions

Abstract

Here, we investigate the impact of doping on the electronic and thermoelectric properties of graphene nanoconstrictions. Our results show that doping the graphene nanoconstrictions with radical molecules enhances the electrical conductance and thermopower S. As a direct consequence of doping with radical molecules sharp transport resonances in their transmission functions near Fermi energy appears. This lead to great improvement of the electrical conductance and thermopower S. Our result emphasizes the big potential that the radical molecules play it to form new thermoelectric materials with unprecedented thermoelectric efficiency.
