Trend Analysis of New Retail Business Based on Consumption Big Data

Abstract

With the change of consumer consumption consciousness, traditional retail mode can not meet the new era environment, and new retail consumption has become the mainstream. With the shrinking of traditional retail and the bottleneck of Internet retail growth space, big data and new technology applications bring new opportunities for the development of retail industry. This paper proposes a new retail business model based on user experience and big data in the experience economy based on the relevant theories of business model. Based on the theory of big data and the characteristics of new retail, this paper determines the evaluation framework of four primary indicators and 12 secondary indexes from three levels. This paper also proposes the niche width, overlap and competitive advantage measurement method of new retail enterprises. Through the analysis of the relevant successful business cases, we can find an effective transformation path for traditional retail.
