Effect of Mental Awareness Training on Mental Health of College Students

Abstract

In order to understand the intervention effect of mental awareness training on College Students' emotional level and provide reference for mental health education of college students, 208 college students were randomly divided into intervention group and control group by cluster random sampling method. The intervention group was given mental awareness training for one month, while the control group was not given any intervention. After the intervention, the scores of state trait anxiety questionnaire and depression questionnaire were compared between the two groups. The results showed that the depression score of the intervention group was significantly lower than that before the intervention, and the anxiety score had no significant difference before and after the intervention. The scores of depression and anxiety in the control group were significantly higher than those before the intervention. The data analysis results show that mental awareness training can effectively improve the emotional health of college students. It has a certain reference value for the research on the intervention effect of mental awareness training on College Students' mental health level.
