Construction of Surveying and Mapping Professional Resource Database Based on Visual Reality Technology

Abstract

With the reform of education mode, the introduction of information technology into the teaching of Surveying and mapping engineering can effectively promote the reform of college education. Based on the background of the rapid development of virtual technology, virtual reality technology has brought opportunities for the teaching reform of Surveying and Mapping Engineering in Colleges and universities, as well as challenges and problems for the informatization of university teaching. In this paper, combined with the application of virtual technology in surveying and mapping engineering specialty, the problems found in teaching are carefully analyzed, and the concept of virtual technology is applied to the actual teaching to promote the teaching reform of Surveying and mapping engineering specialty. The experimental results show that in order to better meet the needs of social development, considering the influence of information technology on the teaching of Surveying and mapping geographic information, and creating a teaching environment conducive to the formation of students' awareness and ability of geographic information, teachers should use virtual reality (VR) technology for teaching. This method can break the traditional teaching mode of Surveying and mapping geographic information, and make the classroom more diverse, creative and novel.
