Query Method of Web English Education Resources based on Semantic Topic Similarity

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of imprecise query of Web database for ordinary users in English education resource query, a method of imprecise query in Web Database Based on semantic similarity is proposed. For a given query, this method first finds out one (or several) queries whose similarity is higher than the given relaxation threshold in the query history, and then finds the tuples matching these queries from the database as the result of the imprecise query of the current query. Finally, these query results are sorted according to their satisfaction with the initial query. The experimental results show that the proposed semantic similarity evaluation method has stable performance and reasonable evaluation results, and the imprecise query method has high recall and ranking accuracy. The experimental results provide some reference for the research of Web English education resources query method based on semantic topic similarity.
