Study on the temperature and evaporation rate of LNG ship liquid cargo hold

Abstract

—The main liquid cargo compartment form of LNG ships, usually single or double cylinders. The
temperature field calculation of the cargo hold area usually uses simplified one-dimensional heat transmission
calculation method, the calculation accuracy is poor, it is difficult to determine the temperature field
distribution of the hull structure of the cargo hold area accurately, thus affecting the accuracy of the selection
of the structural material level of the cargo hold area. Based on the analysis of the main factors affecting the
evaporation rate of LNG ship tank, qualitative analysis is carried out on the thermal load of liquid cargo hold.
