Abstract

In this paper we proposed a DFIG based WPGS with SMC controller in remain solitary mode Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) with an energy source by a self-governing method. In order to increase the efficiency of the wind turbine system a powerful shifting structure control is applied. In previous methods these DFIG is represented in different diverse control charts using normal conventional PI controllers, FLC controllers, but these techniques doesn’t handled the features like wind fluctuation effects. The control over the load side converter and the rotor side converter mainly depends up on the field placement method. We proposed this method to control the wind turbine – DFIG of a high order sliding mode. The stator voltage and currents are identified and made sinusoidal by keeping a steady recurrence and voltage at PCC. The results shows that these approach have additional features like chattering-free actions, stability over machine, good response to speed change.
