Abstract

The self-ignition oxidation experiment of a 1-2# coal sample in Halagou Coal Mine was carried out using a temperature-programmed system and gas chromatography. The variation of gas coal spontaneous combustion combustion with temperature was analyzed. The principal component analysis of oxidation temperature test data was carried out by SPSS statistical software to predict the natural combustion process of coal. Through the on-site layout, it was determined that the oxidation zone of the goaf is between 20 and 63 m behind the work surface. A comprehensive index system for coal spontaneous combustion prediction in Halagou Coal Mine was established. The results show that CO, C2H4, C2H6, CO/CO2, and C3H8/C2H6 can be used as indicators for predicting coal spontaneous combustion.
