Development of Efficient Security System for WBAN Application using Human Body Communication
Abstract
Human Area Networking (HAN) uses the human body surface as a protected transmission path
through the network with supersonic speed. RedTacton is a break-through technology that allows for efficient
high-speed HAN. The human body produces constantly minute electrical charges. In RedTacton technology,
this generated electric field is used to transmit and receive [duplex communication] signals. This method thus
differs radically from other technologies for signal transmission, such as wireless and infrared technologies, as it
uses the minute electrical field generated on the human body surface to transmit data. As a result, a new energyefficient network protocol called HAN [Human Area Network], like LAN and WAN, is being configured.
RedTacton transform the human body surface into a high-speed data transmission path. The weak electrical
signal is transmitted through this data transmission path. The transceiver follows the capacitive coupling mode
of transmission. Nowadays, the security issue is very critical in many ways, such as cell phone customization,
vehicle customization, and restrictions on unauthorized access (higher places). This paper addresses and
exemplifies an efficient lock management system used in superior places, as well as access to various devices
such as motors, weapons, ammos, etc. that can be used in military locations in a protected manner. The proposed
model is developed using Arduino Microcontroller, LCD, Door unit, HBC transmitter and receiver, Human
Body (medium), and thus provides an effective safety environment for Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN)
applications.
