Intelligent Transport System For Tracking School Bus Using Gps Optimized Reader

Abstract

Waiting for the School bus in the morning and in the evening for the kids to come back home is a
time waste daily mission of parents. The proposed school bus tracking system includes both web program
and mobile application where it mainly provides students and parents the ability to track the location
accurately. This feature would also resolve tensions upon any delay or inconvenience. The features involved
in the tracking system helps in running school bus drivers and fleet vehicles in the most efficient way. This
developed system will make the communication easy between parents, school and the bus which becomes
easy to detect kid’s arrival time. The system gives flexibility, low cost, security and reliability. The system is
implemented as an interactive application so that it can be hosted and used by any school admin. The
primitive objective of this work is to make a GPS tracking application effectively and accurately to track
school buses than the present tracking system.
