Abstract

The need for parking spaces has become a specific problem in the transportation system, especially in various metropolitan cities. The problem is due to the rapid growth in the number of vehicles that are not comparable to existing parking lots. With so many motorists parking their car or motorcycle irregularly on the small road or sidewalk, this causes problems because it will narrow the road, cause congestion and disturb other road users. On the other hand, there is a lot of unproductive lands, such as vacant land or unused house garages, can be used as parking lots by renting it out, which can become profitable business opportunities. One of the solutions is to build a mobile application that bridge drivers and lands owner that can help drivers find a parking space, also help people who own unproductive space to become productive. This parking application system is designed and expected to reduce the problem of lack of parking space, and it will open new business opportunities by utilizing unused land or garage by bringing together parking space owners and parking spot seekers.
