Abstract

The aim is to apply cloud computing technology to fund risk control of university informatization construction projects and improve the efficiency of university informatization management in China. First, the concept and characteristics of cloud computing and its application in the construction of universities as well as the university informatization construction projects are described. Then, the cloud risk analysis technology based on fault tree analysis (FTA) and statistical simulation method is proposed. The university data center is divided into three sub data centers: A, B and C, and finally, the Oracle Crystal Ball risk software is used for statistical simulation and conditional assumption. The results show that the probability of the normal operation of the top-level event in cloud computing data centers is approximately 99.6%, and the probability of the normal operation of the entire data center is within the range of that of A, B and C. The most influential non-available input variable in the cloud data center is E3, with a correlation value of 0.6. If the investment of university informatization construction projects exceeds 50,000 US dollars, the cost interruption probability is about 70% of the original model, but after E3 optimization, the interruption probability drops to about 50%. The conclusion is that cloud computing technology can reduce the investment risk of university informatization construction projects, and greatly improve the efficiency of university informatization construction.
