Abstract

In order to solve the problems of low resource utilization, unbalanced load of physical machines and unbalanced load of cloud data centers, an improved NSGA II algorithm is proposed, which has innovations in execution speed, load balance and energy consumption. According to the dynamic change of resource demand in cloud computing environment, the task is allocated and scheduled to the virtual machine by predicting the execution time of the task on the virtual machine, and the overall efficiency of the system is optimized. The virtual machine scheduling strategy of Open Stack cloud platform for network bandwidth demand is improved, and the utilization of network bandwidth resources is balanced. Simulation results show that compared with Open Stack's default scheduling strategy, the proposed scheduling strategy improves the network throughput of virtual machine instances more effectively.
