Design of Automatic Welding Production Unit for Oil Suction Flange

Abstract

With the rapid development of our economy, there is increasing demand for heavy machinery. As an important component of hydraulic oil tanks, oil suction flange is therefore increasingly needed in the market. This project takes oil suction flange welding equipment of an enterprise in Liuzhou as the research object. According to the action characteristics and load requirements of the manipulator, an automatic loading and unloading manipulator with a double-arm common rail structure is designed; according to the welding speed and weld shape of the automatic welding machine, rotary welding platform is designed; with stepping motor, cylinder, etc. as the actuator, zero return is designed to ensure that the mechanical zero return of the production unit completes the coordinated control between the loading and unloading manipulator, the rotary welding platform and the welding torch before each operation. The experimental results show that the automatic welding production unit realizes automatic welding of the oil suction flange, meets its production qualification index requirements, improves the welding efficiency and reduces workers’ labor intensity.
