Research on English Translation Strategies Based on Big Data from the Perspective of Systemic Functional Linguistics

Abstract

With the in-depth development of global integration, the ties between countries in the world are getting closer and closer, which greatly promotes the circulation of English in the society and increases the importance of English. Innovative foreign language talents in the era of big data must have excellent basic language skills, a strong professional knowledge structure, innovative thinking skills, and practical ability to analyze and solve problems. From the perspective of systemic functional linguistics, it is very important to further standardize and improve English translation. The advent of the era of big data has put forward new requirements for college English translation education, and has provided a rare opportunity for the development of college English translation education. In English translation education, we must actively integrate new teaching methods and establish new teaching models. This paper analyzes and combines the characteristics of the big data era from the perspective of system functional linguistics, and studies English translation through the system functional language discourse analysis model, which provides a new linguistic perspective for the study of English translation models.
