Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has acquired a lot of attention from the research community due to its numerous uses for home, office or any rescue area tracking, control and automation. ZigBee, built on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, is the secret to WSN 's popularity since it is an evolving standard for low-power, low-cost, and low-rate wireless networks which has drawn the attention of research community recently. In this paper, routing topologies of ZigBee protocols are presented, simulation and applications of ZigBee Based WSN are presented and some studies on the security challenges are also introduced
