Entrepreneurial Competencies and Development: Role of Academic Institutions in Nepalese Context

Abstract

The study investigates the present role of academic institutions towards entrepreneurial competencies and development in Nepal. For obtaining the result, descriptive research design was implemented. The result of this research exposed the need for project and programs that would enable students to excel learning and build up entrepreneurial skills. Henceforth, the researcher concludes that the current academic practice and role of higher-level academic institutions is not satisfyingly favorable with respect to entrepreneurial competencies development in Nepal. Meanwhile, it is highly expected to have more academic planning and commitment in this area from the academic institution of Nepal.
