Abstract

To improve the artistic characteristics of computer embroidery, and make it not only have the advantages of mass production, but also have more pictographic features, and conform to people's growing artistic level, in this exploration, first, the theoretical basis of manual crewel embroidery technology is proposed. Then, the characteristics of computerized mechanical embroidery and crewel embroidery are compared and summarized.Finally, WILCOM embroidery software and TUMX-C1201 multi-functional 12 needle single head computer embroidery machine are used to complete the embroidery frame proofing size design, base needle selection, and the layered combination of pattern color and style. The binding assay of computerized mechanical embroidery and crewel embroidery is carried out.The results show that for 10mm, 20mm and 30mm base needles, the gray value of 15 groups of proofing samples with stitch spacing from 0.2mm to 3mm shows a gradual upward trend, with an obvious upward trend between 0.2mm and 1.8mm, and basically a stable state between 1.8mm and 3mm. In the 50×50mm area, the number of base needles is 102, 24 and 5, respectively.The visual style of computerized mechanical crewel embroidery shows certain characteristics. The stitching of petal pattern contains a certain degree of looseness, which looks livelier and improves the sense of hierarchy. At the same time, the three-dimensional effect of sunflower petals is obvious. The above results show that the multi-level artistic drawing process of computer embroidery can be realized based on the computer digital technology. The combination of manual crewel embroidery and computer embroidery can not only achieve mass production of embroidery, but also improve the artistic beauty of embroidery works.
