Learning From Home Toward Student's Disability During Covid Pandemic 19

Abstract

This research aims to obtain information about problems and learning models at the homes of students with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research method is a survey method; surveys are given to special teachers and students with disabilities, surveys are conducted to find out the problems faced by teachers or students during learning and activities at home during the COVID pandemic 19. Respondents were taken by purposive sampling—total of 207 respondents (174 teachers and 33 students). The results of the study concluded that a useful learning model for students with disabilities in the form of remote learning, where students are given assignments through WhatsApp to parents and parents act as substitutes for teachers, especially for mentally disabled students and autistic students, the teacher provides a clear learning program and detailed stages that can be understood by parents so that parents can replace the teacher at home.
