Analytical Solutions of Unidirectional Flows of Couple Stress Fluid between Concentric Cylinders through Porous Medium With Slip Boundary Conditions
The aim of this paper is to present the closed form analytical solutionsof unidirectional flows of couple stress fluid namely, Poiseuille flow, Couette flow and Couette-Poiseuille flow between two concentric circular cylinders through porous medium with slip boundary conditions. Here, the fluid flow is generated due to the constant pressure gradient or the translatory motion of the outer cylinder or both. We present the velocity profiles of the above flows graphically and the effect of various parameters on velocity is discussed.
