Abstract

Folk art is the treasure of modern art design. It contains various forms and stores the most original spirit of creation and aesthetics of the ancient nation. This paper studies the teaching reform of folk art resources product design based on visual communication design. In the information age, it is very timely and necessary to recognize and excavate the remains of traditional folk art culture and expand it into available art education resources. This paper first studies and explores the ways and methods of introducing folk art into the teaching and practice of visual communication design major through field collection, subject participation, literature, classroom practice and other methods. Then, starting from the cultivation of students' national aesthetic taste, it studies the art education value of folk art resources. With the help of big data data fusion method, this paper studies the feasibility of transforming the product design of folk art resources into educational resources. Finally, based on the research data, this paper expounds the teaching reform method of folk art resource product design based on visual communication design. This method provides a reference for the teaching reform of product design based on visual communication design.
