Modelling For Disaster Monitoring System Using Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract

Disasters even though they cannot be eliminated from the earth,lot of measures are taken  to overcome  and also early warning  signs are given to public to be safe and to defeat the disaster.  This paper  gives  an effective and economical solution as an alternative to cost and labour demanding technologies by making use of LabView and wireless technology. Disasters lead to human loss, fund crisis , suffering , economic degrowth, mental pressure and total loss of buildings , Insurance claim etc.It is an age of wireless networks and it plays a major role in sustaining  during catastrophe.This model can be used to detect the mishap happening in an industry. Zigbee is used for monitoring with accelerometer sensors to identify and send mail to the desired person during mishap. Since zigbee  has lower bandwidth an effective algorithm is developed to improve the latency time.
