Intelligent Glass Furnaces Temperature Control System

The questions of the implementation of automatic control of the thermal regime of fuel combustion in glass furnaces on the basis of fuzzy logic are discussed.The features inherent in fuzzy control systems are analyzed. The features of fuzzy control systems are highlighted in relation to the requests of technological processes occurring in glass furnaces.A three-level multidimensional control system is proposed, at the lower level of which proportional-integral-differential controls are implemented, at the middle control stage the fuzzy controller generates a task for the local PID controller of the lower level, and at the upper control stage the expert system generates optimal control signals for regulating glass manufacturing processes.
