Abstract

Electric Vehicles are the upcoming and most researched on project at present many of the top companies have
already produced a highly suitable and advanced electric company like TESLA, TATA etc. In every sense an electric
vehicle has an edge over the regular internal combustion vehicle but still people hesitate to buy electric vehicles
because of few reasons and one of the major reasons is the charging time period and charging station in this project
we are giving are proposing a high efficiency and high voltage battery charger which enables us to charge any
battery at an increased pace and decrease the loses related to it .The project has a bridgeless configuration which
maintains the stability and voltage value in the circuit and it also has single step conversion method which increases
the efficiency and decreases the voltage. We have also introduced the concept of series resonance circuit which helps
in losses control as the whole circuit works in a single frequency, this concept helps in the reverse recovery losses
frequently found in the diodes and convertor circuits. We have equipped the circuit in a feedback system which helps
in changing and correcting the power factor according to the load and the supply voltage.
