Optimization Traffic Light Cycle at T-Junctions

Abstract

The article presents methodology for evaluation traffic light cycle, considering the traffic intensity the T-shaped intersection in urban area. Traffic flow was collected and analyzed in key sites. It was found that existing traffic light cycle not optimized and causes traffic delays in main street. Proposed approach on traffic light cycle evaluation assists assign proper time management in the intersection.
