Smart Electric Vehicle Charger Using Landsman Converter

Abstract

This project deals with the development and integration of an electric vehicle (EV) battery charger with IOT the
presented design is existing diode bridge rectifier (DBR) converter at the front end is replaced by the landsman
converter along with (PFC) power factor correction converter. and integration with IOT is achieved by using an
Arduino Uno microcontroller board and IOT module which is connected to cloud, due to the integration of the
charger with IOT real time readings of the charger can be measured and are stored in a cloud server which can be
accessed thru mostly all the online mobile electronic devices.so in order to show the conformity of the design, a
concept model was made which can energize a 24V, 100Ah capacity battery. The expected outcome of the design is
satisfactory.
