Analysis of School Art Education in the General Art Education system of China

Abstract

Art education is an important way for the continuation and development of the arts. With the development of society and economy, art education has also developed and has been paid growing attention. Since entering the 21st century, China's art education has developed rapidly, achieving many breakthroughs and advances from scratch. Despite the development process, school art education which is the essential part of China's general art education, still has major problems that deserve our attention and deep thoughts. This article deals with school art education in the general art education framework. Starting with the analysis of philosophical basis and school art education, this section analyzes the influence of art education philosophy on school art education. The multiple functions of philosophical thinking on school art education are also demonstrated. In the second section, the guiding role of national policy on art education and the "do's" and "don'ts" of the relevant government departmentsareanalyzedfromtheperspectiveoftheroleandpositionofeducation department in the school education system. The third section discusses the changes in the curriculum of school art education in terms of objective setting and content setting based on comparative research. As a reference for the comparative study, the objectives of the U.S. art curriculum standards and the specific curriculum standards are analyzed. In section four, the possibilities and directions for the development of innovation in school art education are further analyzed using the example of the Experimental School Affiliated to Central Academy of Fine Arts.
