Abstract

Nowadays, morethan 285 million people globally are visually impaired.This kind of people most probably face the problem  identification of humans and the path ways. The rise in technology gives the capability of mobile devices and gives more application,these can be easily assisted through an additional method of identification through intelligent software based on computer vision techniques.The device is the various combinations of various hardware like Raspberry pi,ultrasonic sensors,accelero gyroscope,camera along with software written on python to serve as a base for functioning device and we propose a stereo camera based assistive-system which can detect objects and/or obstacles around the blind people. By this approach, we expected that the blind people can walk faster. The blind people can use the software named by screen reader.In this paper we present about identification of a visual challenged people in face recognition and path finder with the help of applications and sensors. It will help him to leave with danger free. It also informs user about environmental surrounding.him so they can make an accurate decision.
