Review of mobile apps in combating COVID-19 in India

Abstract

The Covid pandemic had changed the way the World functions. There are several ways in which various countries battled to manage Covid. Digital technologies have played a vital part in battle against Covid. The most popular among this was the various mobile apps that came into picture during the period of the pandemic. The applications were helpful in contact tracking, patient tracing, and isolation of hot spot. This paper summarizes the list and the uses of the various mobile apps in handling Covid. The various apps available in India for managing Covid are elaborated. The issues in usage of mobile applications are also discussed.
