Cascaded Interleaved Boost Converter for Higher Voltage using Photovoltaic System
Abstract
In this article a new topology of cascaded interleaved boost-converter with its design is presented. The proposed
topology consists of interleaved boost-converter cascaded with a dcc converter which raises efficiency, attains high
voltage gain without working on extreme duty cycle & reduces filter size as compared to CBC. The performance of
the CBC, interleaved boost-converter & the proposed converter circuit has been studied for the photovoltaic
application & simulation is done using MATLAB/Simulink.
