Abstract

This project aims to come up with an easy, cost effective, efficient way of ascertaining, whether a place is conducive
for solar energy harvesting. To choose whether a place is correct, we first need to know the weather conditions of
the place, the temperature, light intensity, angle of incidence of light. After deciding on the place, we need to see if
the solar panel is giving desirable output, by seeing whether it gives adequate amount of charge to store and supply
to grid, or to houses or any such consumers. Through this project both needs will be met, through the usage of
Arduino. In this paper we look at parameters affecting solar energy, such as light intensity, temperature, current and
voltage.
