Effect of Partial Replacement [40%] of Sand by Steel Slag on Strength Characteristics of Pavement

Abstract

For checking the strength and durability of concrete compressive strength test and split tensile strength is done for 7 and 28 days with concrete by adding steel slag as replacement of sand in various percentages i.e. 10%,20%,30%,40%. The results show that the strength properties of concrete increase significantly when sand is partially replaced by steel slag.
