Abstract

Soil evolution is a doctrine of changes in the soil that has both theoretical and practical
significance. Evolutionary processes in the soil begin especially intensively at night with increasing duration
of irrigation. It has been almost 150 years since the development of the Mirzachul oasis began. The
Mirzachul oasis is divided into two according to the period of development: the old part and the new part.
The old part is located in the north-eastern part of Mirzachul and was irrigated in the late 19th and early 20th
centuries.
The newly developed part began to be irrigated in the 50s of the last century. The article presents the
processes that took place in the old and newly mastered parts of Mirzachul and compares the changes in
them.
