Abstract

This article discusses the need for the establishment of healthy mother vineyards and their
constant testing in order to create a system of production of certified grape seedlings in Uzbekistan, as well
as its scientific basis. After all, today all the existing vineyards in Uzbekistan are built on the basis of
cuttings propagated by cuttings, and the next vineyards are being built. The lack of professional
phytosanitary monitoring in such vineyards leads to the contamination of raw materials (cuttings) with
bacterial canker, black spot, anthracnose, necrosis of conductive tubes and other industrial vineyards, which
shortens the service life and reduces the yield and quality. Experiments on growing seedlings from cuttings
obtained from healthy native vineyards, established on a scientific basis, showed that the standard seedling
yield from such cuttings reached 79.3-87.0%. At this time, the standard seedling yield from cuttings
obtained from industrial vineyards in the usual way did not exceed 56.1%.
