Technology-Based Law Learning in The Online Students of Universitas Terbuka

Abstract

— Online tutorial students of Law Studies of Universitas Terbuka not only get academic skills but
also have expertise in the use of technology. Open University provides facilities for students to choose face
to face tutorials and online tutorials. At the Law Study Program, theoretical and practical courses can be
taken using online tutorials and online practice. The reasons why law students choose online tutorials in
studying theoretical and practical courses, as well as the obstacles faced by them when online tutorials based
on distance learning systems, are the two problems of this research and will be discussed in this article. The
researchers conducted this research using qualitative data in the questionnaire filled by online students
studying law studies. Some of these problems can be used for evaluations and recommendations about
online tutorial learning methods both within the scope of Universitas Terbuka and other universities that use
distance learning systems.
