On the Intention to Continue using M-Payment in Indonesia: A Case Study of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise in Indonesia

Abstract

Nowadays, mobile payment (m-payment) has become an integral part of modern society. This
study examined the intention of the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) owners in Indonesia to
continue using m-payment application for their business transactions by adopting the technology acceptance
model (TAM) as a research framework. The research was conducted in the several cities in Indonesia, with
192 MSME business owners as respondents. The results of statistical analyzes by using SPSS statistical
software showed positive correlation between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and trust to the
intention to continue using GO-PAY as m-payment, and a negative impact on perceived risk to the intention
to continue using GO-PAY as m-payment..
