Abstract
It is known that objective functions of Engineering Optimization are very complex, which deals
with numerous variables and restraints. In rare situations, the global optima point cannot be obtained by
Conventional optimization tools. Genetic Algorithm, Gradient search methods etc. which are most preferred
algorithm to find the global optima relating engineering problems. This study is carried out by utilizing
currently developed non – traditional optimization algorithms to determine the minimal capital of welded
beam design to get universal optimum solutions using Genetic algorithm. The validation is carried out by
Ansys Simulation.
