Abstract

Construction activities are growing day by day in the world due to the rapid increase of human
population, which made the universe more beautiful than before. For construction of new structuredemolition of weaken old structures inexorably results in production of construction demolition waste
(CDW). And disposal of CDW is a setback for Government agenises and construction industry, which
causes hazards to environment. The CDW composition comprises of concreate materials, which has
possibility of using as course aggregate. The major objective of this research paper is to use the CDW as the
recycled aggregate. These aggregates are proposed to use as a partial replacement of normal conventional
aggregate. These aggregates are also used in a defined proportion, thus the durable M25 grade concreate can
produce. The normal aggregates are partially replaced by the CDW with the various percentages as 0, 20,
40, 50, 60, 80, and 100. Then the performance of the produced concreate is analysed by testing around 420
specimens. The performance analysis shows that the partial substitution of coarse aggregate by recycled
aggregate, which influences the strength (tensile, compressive & Flexural). Practically significant strength is
obtained for percentages (50%) of substitution of recycled aggregate
