Contribution of Porosity and Time over a Moving Porous Vertical Surface with Uniform Heat Flux
Abstract
— Effect of porosity and time over a vertical surface when it is exposed to the uniform heat flux
over the flow entities has been examined in this paper. It is noticed that for sufficiently small values of
time, a significant change in the velocity field is not distinctly observable. However, it is seen that as we
drift far from the bounding surface, the velocity decreases. Also it has been recorded that, the time
parameter has a significant contribution on the velocity field. Further, it has been observed that, the profiles
are distinct and are also widely dispersed. However, all other characteristic features remain constant. Apart
from the above, it is seen that, for relatively small increment in the values of time parameter , irrespective
of the porosity the profiles for the velocity field are observed to be more distinctive. The effect of various
flow entities have been illustrated graphically.
