Error Events Early Convergence and Innovative Decoding Methodology for TCM Schemes
In this paper we are presenting an innovative approach to minimize the error event (EE) and the bit error rate (BER) in the Trellis Coded Modulation (TCM) communication systems. An analysis on the occurrence of the EE and the innovative approach to minimize the BER by shortening the length of the EE has been given. The method of getting early convergence of the EE paths in the decoding process has been analyzed. Extraction of the timely-information of the encoder state from the transmitted data has been explained. All the above approaches are illustrated through the EE result and BER result obtained from the simulation.
