COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF OBJECTS AND COLLECTIONS IN THE STATE MUSEUM OF ART OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

The state art museum of Uzbekistan, established in 1918 with a hundred year history, being one of the biggest art museums in Central Asia had become one of the most important centers of art and scientific centres of the country. After the foundation the museum has passed several stages of development. In its infancy the museum collection included about 500 pieces, today it goes to more than 100000 exhibits. The given article is about the unique exhibits from  the Uzbek state art museum collection.
