Review on Power System Security of Grid connected Hybrid Power System

Abstract

Themain objective ofthis, is to provide an alternative power solution for power generation using renewable energy source for that hybrid system consist of wind and solar system are used for generating the power.

Systemgenerating the power from both the sources and generated power stored in a battery so that it can be a more reliable and realistic power source.When there is no sun or wind the load demand can be fulfill from the power stored in the batteries.But problem arises when we connect the renewable hybrid system to the grid. As we know the voltage level is different at both the cases, it is difficult to integrate the hybrid system with existing grid system. The problem arises when the resources has non steady characteristics. The power system security can be obtain by using FACTS devices.
