Abstract

Medico-legal case couldalsobe characterized as a case of harm or sickness, etc., within which examinations by the law-enforcing organizations are basic to settlethe duty with relevancy the causation of the hurt or affliction. The present study was attempted to survey perception and expertise of patients with relevancy to Mercury Hospitals, Chennai. Total 120 patients were exposed to a pre- proven questionnaire associated with MLC and medical neglect after acquiring their oral assent. The form consisted of 13 questions associated with MLC and medical laxity with responses supported Likert’s scale. Feedback received are classified and explored using SPSS software. The current investigation mirrors that the patients have a major brilliant information concerning clinical carelessness and MLC cases which can improve continuously over some undefined time with the assist of media and internet. Training programs and awareness camps must be carried to bring genuine information.
