Model for Detecting Employee Fraud in Retail Marketplace

Abstract

The research objective is to find out whether there is a significant influence of economic pressures, control systems, ethical culture of the organization on the tendency of fraud. The research method used is quantitative research. The sample of this research was 48 employee trials. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The results showed that economic pressure was not significant to the tendency of frauds, while the control system and the ethical culture of the organization controlled significantly. Related to the control system implemented to consider sustainability to control the security of company assets and information, and enhance the ethical culture that exists in the company by conducting socialization or training related to ethical actions.
