Abstract

The ground of nanotechnology is present in each of the leading dynamic investigation zones in
current materials science. Nanotechnology has received plenty of attention with due to its future potential.
Nanoparticles (NPs) are gradually adapted for targeting microorganisms as alternative to antibiotics.
Nanoparticles are expedient in treating bacteriological contaminations. Nanoparticles of specific shape and size
considering for specific requirements. This critical review aim is to first examine well the mechanisms and
synthesis process of nanomaterials. Secondly follow with the applications of a number of these nanoparticles.
Finally, we represent an overview of imminent views on antiseptic uses of nanostructured constituents stabilize
implant infections. There are developments of new methods of synthesis and surface functionalization of
nanomaterials has generated research interest in current years. Nanotechnology earnings lots of application in
biomedical engineering imaging, implants, diagnosis, enzyme alternative and tissue engineering. During this
chapter we discuss the recent developments in synthesis and biological applications of nanotechnology a
