A Note on the Achromatic Number of the Central Graphs of Some Path RelatedGraphs

Abstract

This paper aims to find the achromatic number of central graph of a few path related graphs, viz, lollipop
graph, tadpole graph, ladder graph and cocktail party graph. Investigation of the structural properties of the
graphs has also been done. While for the first three graphs, the achromatic numbers of central graph are
equal to the number of vertices, the cocktail party graph showed an achromatic number equal to one more
than the number of vertices in the original graph.
