Abstract

Adoption of the M-Government applications services is subject to some factors as is the case with
the diffusion or adoption of any new or innovative technology. Previous researches have determined the
factors which influenced the adoption of mobile government in some countries by using the Unified Theory
of Acceptance and Use of Technology model (UTAUT). This paper aims to identify the impact of the impact
of influential factors influencing citizens on the M-Government Services Adoption in UAE. The study was to
develop and evaluate structural relationship of factors influence the citizens of UAE from adopting the mGovernment
application services. Data was collected through questionnaire survey and a total of 263
questionnaires were received valid. The Analysis of Moment Structures Equation Modelling (AMOS-SEM)
model was developed based on the influential factors which are perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness,
social influence, perceived risk, trust, perceived compatibility, national culture and behavioural . The findings
indicate that only 4 of 6 influential factors construct are having positive and significant direct relationship with
M-Government Services Adoption and also four with mediating construct but insignificant and were not
supported. For indirect relationship, the national culture does not show any mediation effect on the relationship
between the six exogenous constructs. This found that the national culture were not supported. The
implication of this research is that if the results is tenaciously implemented, it is believed to be capable of
enhancing the citizens knowledge towards m-government adoption.
