Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the participation in educational management of
non-formal and informal education center, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, 2) to compare the participation
in educational management of non-formal and informal education center, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in
terms of sexes, age, degree of education and occupation as differently, and 3) to study the suggestions on the
participation in educational management of non-formal and informal education center, Nakhon Si
Thammarat Province. Mixed methods research was used and research tools were interview form and
questionnaires. Qualitative data was collected from 30 key informants and was analyzed by using content
analysis whereas quantitative data was collected from 170 samples and was analyzed by using descriptive
statistics. Results indicated that 1) the participation in educational management of non-formal and informal
education center, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province by overview was at more level for all aspects. When
considered in each aspect found that the aspect of learning activity management was the highest level,
followed up the aspect of education evaluation and supervision and the aspect of course management was
the lowest level respectively. 2) The comparative results on the participation in educational management of
non-formal and informal education center, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in terms of sexes, age, degree of
education found that there were not different but occupation found that there were different as statistically
significance at.01. 3) The suggestion on the way to promote for the participation in educational management
of non-formal and informal education center, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province for the management of
different learning activities for target group population should be activities from people’s real need, meeting
to create a better understanding for the preparation and development of the local programs and report results
to the relevant supervisory information to the supervisory plan to improve the quality of education.
