Identification and Correction of Power Factor in HVAC System Using Synchronous Condenser

Abstract

In the modern advanced world, Power quality is the most important constraint for the
power system. Most machines in industries commonly use inductive loads. Few methods to solve the
difficult of power factor improvement. In that, the Synchronous motors are used standard in large
power applications for their high operativeefficacy, consistency, controllable power factor, and
comparatively low compassion to voltage dips. The synchronous motor can be achieved both
generating kVAR as a compensator and convenient machine as a motoring function in the power
system.
